you can loose weight. it doesn't have to be a lot, but lossing even 5-10 pounds will help.
can exercise. will lower BP in long run.
if you drink too much alcohol, you need to stop.
low salt diet. helps more in "African American" as they tend to me more sensitive to salt diet.
should be enough there to keep you busy for a while.
