Hello,
Thank you for asking on HCM!
I read your report and i do understand you query related to hypothyroidism.
Being diagnosed with hypothyroidism doesn't mean that you must have all the signs and symptoms of this disease. You have scantly periods but do not have weight changes (in hypothyroidism in general, but not necessarily, there is a tendency to put on weight).
Taking into consideration your age, even the scantly periods may not be related with hypothyroidism, but may be they are a sign of pre-menopause.
TSH 12 regardless of the symptoms needs to be treated to prevent further problems related with the lipid profile and atherosclerosis.
As about the diet and lifestyle, until now there are not data that suggest any efficiency in improving hypothyroidism. All i would recommend is to take the tablets regularly, 1 hour before breakfast and to check the hormonal level 6 weeks after treatment in order to judge ig the dose is correct.
Hope i was clear with my suggestions.

Kind regards,
Dr.M.Guni
