Diabetologist 's  Response
Hi, i had gone through your query and understood your concerns.

Mam, your husband's blood sugar levels are too high and so he is put on insulin.
The response of blood sugar levels is verified during initial days, once they are well controlled, we can whether the blood sugar levels are in control by slightly reducing or removing insulin and using higher dose drugs.

Then the response is again checked , if the sugar levels stay in control, we can get on with drugs. Or if sugar levels bounce back, Then for sure he has to be on insulin for the rest of the time.

Hope this guides you. Thank you.
