Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. Blood pressure has to be controlled with medications. Natural remedy to control high blood pressure would be diet, exercise, yoga and meditation. Since you do not smoke and drink, it would be much easier for you to control blood pressure. Have a healthy normal diet rich in fibres like vegetable salads and fruits. Restrict salt intake and avoid oily and junk foods. Regular morning and evening brisk walk for 20 minutes each is the best exercise that could be suggested both for blood pressure and pre-diabetes status. Yoga and meditation will help you to control the stress effectively. By the above measures, with regular follow-up, you can control blood pressure and diabetes. Hence, make it as a habit. All the best and wish you good health.
