Diet pills generally are forms of amphetamine- this is what gives you the increased energy. Amphetamine-like stimulants may suppress the appetite as well. In your case that doesn't seem to be happening. You can ask your doctor to prescribe you another diet pill in that class, but no one can guarantee it will be able to suppress your appetite, though it probably will give you energy. It may be that you are not sensitive to the appetite-suppressing part of amphetamine-type diet pills. Phendimetrazine, benzphetamine, and diethylpropion are drugs in that class that you can ask your doctor about. Hope this helps.
