Hello,

Cancer treatment depends on the type of cancer and the stage. If the doctor has suggested surgery and chemotherapy as options, it’s for betterment so that further spread of the cancer can be stopped. Because cancers tend to be aggressive and they need to be treated similarly or else the spread will cause more damage.

If you still have doubts then I suggest consulting one more gynecologist. Also discuss if he suggests any alternatives but that will be dependent on your age and extent of the spread.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
