I have been diagnosed with SLE Lupus and now vasculitis with neuropathy in my extremities. My physician has placed me back on prednisone to reduce the vasculitis symptoms as well as the neuropathy. The problem is that I am still having the numbness and the side effects of the prednisone are making me ill. Is there an alternative to prednisone? I am also on generic for imuran for treatment of the vasculitis and sLE
