Is There An Alternative To Surgery With L1 Stable Fracture ( Motor And Sensory Nerve Intact ) With Weakness In The Lower Limb?

hi doc sb. I have a patient with L1 stable fracture and his motor and sensory nerve intact but there is little bit weakness on his left lower limb .He is in Saudi Arabia but the doctors there going to do surgery as I am orthotist and prosthetist I have suggest for him complete bed rest with TLSO and there is no need to do hurry for surgical intervention.Please doctor sahib I need your expert opinion.Thanks

fracture with weakness of limb means fracture is unstable.please do the muscle charting for proper assessment of motor system ,it is 5/5 you can manage conservative but if weakness is there better to go for operative fixation, thank you
