my father is suffering from glioblastoma multiforme grade 4. he underwent a surgery for the same. and he has to undergo radiation and chemotherapy, is der an alternative for chemotherapy, since the side effects of the latter are worse. kindly help.

Of course, there are the side effects of chemotherapy and it could be painful and unbearable to the patient but there is no option one could find instead of chemotherapy. To cure the malignancy chemotherapy and radiotherapy are the only option available along with surgery or without the surgery.
