Hi

I understand that your kid has fever and running nose.
If its just that, it is likely to be a virus. In such a case you may give her Fepanil (paracetamol) every 6 hrs.
Cough syrups are to be given only when there is a bothering cough.
Asthalin is used when the child has wheeze.

Cough syrups are given according to the type of cough and after listening to the chest. So it would be better to choose the cough formulation after having your child seen by a doctor.
If its wheeze, cough medications have to be given regularly for atleast a week.

If fever persists, its better to go for blood check now as 1 week is over now.
Hope my answer helps.
Wish your kid good health.
