Sir I washed my hands in a public toilet..is there any possibility of contracting hiv if someone with hiv had washed his hands just before me supposing he had left some semen or blood on the tap and I too had some minor two hours old cut on my finger?

Hi,

HIV cannot be viable outside the human body fluids not more than few seconds. Therefore, the transmission through toilet handles and seats are a remote possibility. If transmission is possible this way, then most of the population across the planet would have HIV. Right, now, over 35 million people are living with HIV. It does not happen like this so not to worry.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
