Is There A Natural Alternative To Iron To Help Boost My Energy With Myelproliferative Syndrome?

I am a 46yr old woman. Normally healthy and active. I was dignosed with myeloproliferative syndrome a year ago. My haematologist has advised to not take iron supplements as this will make matters worse. Unfortunately he could not offer any alternative to the immense fatigue I am now feeling. Is there a natural alternative to iron to help boost my energy.

Thank you for asking!
Your doctor is right. Myeloproliferative disorders are very much notorious for this. And iron supplements will worsen it. You can try vitamin b12 supplements and see if that works but fatigue and MPD are connected. Get a dietitian for a complete dietary plan and do as directed by your doctor.
