Is There A Correlation Between Black Mold Exposure And ALS?

Good evening, I have just found out that I have black mold in my home. My husband became ill after we moved into the house in 2006. He passed away in 2012 ALS, being the major issue. I also had skin issues after we moved into the home. UAB doctors could never determine the cause. What can you tell me about black mold & ALS?

Hi,

Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) is the most common form of motor neuron disease, yet, to date, the exact etiology of ALS remains unknown. Environment, smoking and occupational disease may aggravate the problem. There's is no studies that have shown amyotrophic lateral sclerosis has related to molds exposure.

Hope I have answered your query.
