Is There A Chance To Have Miscarriage With Urinary Tract Infection?

hi, my girl friend said she got pregnant. we had sex about 1 month ago. she said she got an u.t.i. . went to doctors. they didn t know she was pregnant n the medicine for the u.t.i. made her have a miscarriage?is that possible? this took place in the phillipines? thank u so much for your response
