Is The Semen Analysis Report Normal?

semen test done it is normal or not? volume - 2ml, viscosity - normal, ph- 8.0, fructose - positive, sperm count - 40m/ml total motility - 40%, motility-progressive -30% ,motility non progressive : 10% motility immotile: 60% viability:45%,abnormal forms :5%.

Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

You are suffering from mildly decreased motility of sperms.It should be at least 55 %.
Other findings like volume of semen,sperm count is within normal limit.
For improving motility,you should do exercise and take nutritious food.
You should avoid tight underpants and don't keep laptop over genital areas.

If motility doesn't improve then other methods for assisted fertilization like IUI should be considered.
