Is The Platelet Level Of 174 Normal?

I was feeling rotten on friday so i went to the doc...they suspected i had dengue fever. but now, my platelets count is 174 ( its written down on my form) is that normal? i feel fine now. no nausea, vomiting, red spots, whatever. also, what ca i do to increase the plat level?

Under normal circumstances, a platelet level above 150 is acceptable. Platelets are generated quickly and you need not do anything in particular. Please do not worry. You might have had a small infection. Take rest and good food for some days.
