Is The Medication Of Cymbalta And Tecta Advisable For Fibromyalgia?

My doctor recently put me on cymbalta for what he thinks is fibromyalgia. I have a rheumatologist appointment next week and am not to sure whether to continue eating this cymbalta or not. I took it one night and felt zero back pain but had severe stomach pain and diarrhea along with insomnia and dizziness. I also take tecta and acetaminophen. So am wondering. Can I take tecta with cymbalta in the night time before sleep or should I wait til I see a rheumatologist about my condition.?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

There are no known interactions between tecta and cymbalta. There are also no interactions between these medications and acetaminophen.

This means that they can be safely used together.

Cymbalta is in the family of medications called SSRI and these can be associated with stomach pain and diarrhea and other symptoms of stomach upset in the initial stages.
These effects normally decrease with consistent use.

I hope this helps
