Is The Loin Safe To Eat?

Hi, I smoked a pork loin in the smoker and put a foil pan in the bottom of the smoker to catch drippings. I didn t realize the foil container had a plastic lid on the bottom of it until I was cleaning up and found the plastic. Is the loin safe to eat? It did not come in contact with the meat. Thanks!

Welcome healthcaremagic. I am not concerned whether eatable or not. But once a doubt is there, it will keep you preoccupied between yes or no. So better to be on safe side not eating option.
