Is The Continuous Usage Of Beyaz The Reason For Not Getting Periods?

I have been taking beyaz for about 4 years now and I've never had a problem with my period. All of a sudden the last 5 (maybe more?) months I've been having very light periods to the point that it seems like spotting. I have also gained weight in these months mostly due to stress and depression. I was very stressed with school, but just graduated last month. My last period was normal and I thought it was due to less stress. This month it has not come at all and I am way less stressed than I used to be. I also am not sexually active right now. Is this normal? Could it be due to taking the pills for so long that it stopped my period for good?

Hello dear user!
I have gone through your query and understood your concerns!
Thank you for sharing them on healthcaremagic.
Irregular menstrual bleeding may occur while using these kind of drugs. Stress is another very important factor which may affect your menstrual cycle. Weight gaining may be due to stress, but also due to estrogen you are taking with these pills. So, first of all you have to control stress. And second, you have to consult a gynecologist to get appropriate advises if you should continue or quit this contraceptive you are using.
I hope this answer was helpful to you!
