Is The Blood Pressure Level Normal?

I am a 45 year old male and weigh 250 and I am 5 10 tall. My blood pressure is running around 116/92, Is this a good blood pressure for me. I have lost 30lbs over the past four months. Before I lost this weight my Doctor was worried about me. Because of my latest blood work up. He changed my levels of medication I was currently taking. He was afraid that my pancres was failing.

Welcome to healthcaremagic,
You BMI (body mass index) is 34. BMI of more than 25 is classified as pre-obese and more than 30 as obese. You should seriously consider reducing your weight.
Your blood pressure is slightly elevated. The upper limit is 140 and the lower limit is 90. You need to repeat your blood pressure reading after a couple of days and if it is higher than the normal limit then medication to reduce blood pressure need to be started.
Hope that answers your question,
Regards, Dr.Imaad.
