Is Tear At The Bottom Of Vaginal Opening Post Intercourse A Cause For Concern?

I just became sexually active again after being divorced for 11 years and I have a tear at the bottom of my vaginal opening that s about 1/4 inch long. It looks kinda deep but I only spotted a little bit for a day after sex. I had a total hysterectomy in 2012 so it was really like I was having sex for the first time all over again. My question is, will this heal on its own or should I go see a dr? Is there anything I need to put on it like neosporin or polysporin? Thank you for your time.

Hi,
From history it seems that examination by Gynaec is a must to find out extent of tear into vagina.
Some times tear might be big encroaching deep inside.
Meanwhile you can apply Neosporin or poly sporin cream after proper cleaning the wound.
Ok and take care.
