General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You can take some of the cholesterol medications. Please let me know which medication is advised to you?

As you are also taking medications for type II diabetes, so also consult with endocrinologist as some medications shows interaction and may cause blood sugar level fluctuations.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
