Is Taking Eldoper And Meftal Spas Safe During Pregnancy?

Hi Dr. Nirja,My wife is pregnant(its 5 weeks) and we were not aware of the situation. She took tablets such as Eldofer and Meftal Spas for motions and Stomach pain(1 tablet each). After which she took a combination of Brakke and some other tablet(i do not remember the name). kindly suggest if its safe or does it yield any side effects.

Always remember, that any medicine is very cautiously used in pregnancy.

Always take the opinion of your consulting doctor before having any medicine.

As of now, i would suggest you to get a scan done to confirm the pregnancy. And don't worry ELDOPER and MEFTAL SPAS has no serious ill-effects.

I can not comment on the other one as you have not mentioned what actually is that medicine.
