Is Taking Citalopram Safe Instead Of Sertraline For Chronic Anxiety?
Which med would you recommend for a 21-yr-old with significant anxiety and occasional panic/anxiety attacks? - strong family history of anxiety, but hers is also related to a stressful college major and test anxiety. One doc is recommending citalopram, but in my experience (and family responses to meds), it has not been as effective as sertraline. thank you!

BOTH DRUGS BELONGS TO SAME CLASS, SO HAVING ALMOST HAVING SAME EFFECT AND SIDE EFFECTS. tHIS CLASS IS CALLED AS SSRI, and SSRI IS USUALLY SAFE DRUG IN OTHER WISE NORMAL(NOT HAVING SERIOUS NEUROLOGICAL DISEASE) PATIENT.
