Is Taking Cigmadil Clindamicina Safe For Tooth Infection While Having Fever?

I have had a low temperature.for the past 2 days 96.1 and 95.1. Lots of chills. Vomiting alot even on an empty stomach I feel like I have to vomit. A little diarreah. I do have alot of flems and a runny nose with a little cough. This has been since Wednesday, we are Sunday today. I must also mention I had a root canal done on Tuesday Dentist told me I had to take antibiotics cuz my tooth had gotten real infected. So I was prescribed Cigmadil Clindamicina 300mg every 8hrs

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that you are advised antibiotic clindamycin for dental infection and it is appropriate antibiotic to reduce tooth related infections.
The symptoms of vomiting and vomiting along with diarrhea seems to be side effect of the antibiotic given to you and it is a common side effect of antibiotics..
For relief you can take Pantoprazole or Omeprazole empty stomach in the morning till you are on antibiotics..
On the other hands the symptoms of cough anad phlegm and runny nose seems to be due to upper respiratory tract infection also known as Common cold and it is a viral infection and you can take anti allergics like Allegra, decongestants like Pseudoephadrine,mucolytics like Ambroxol, do warm saline gargles, steam inhalations and use a humidifier in your room..
Avoid spicy and chilled foods and drink plenty of warm water..
Take soft diet..
