Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Amoxicillin with Clavulanic Acid antibiotics is primarily used for respiratory and skin infections. However, it can be used for treating urinary tract infection as well.

Antibiotics like Norfloxacin or Ciprofloxacin is the first choice of many physicians while treating urinary tract infection.

Ideally, it would be better to take an antibiotic course after getting a urine culture and sensitivity test done.

Kindly consult again to clarify whether to go for prescribed medication or it needs to be changed by your treating doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
