Drugs are designed to be in capsules or tablets depending on the chemical and salt and their reactivity to acid in stomach.With varying dosage both are equally effective.In diabetes , mainly those under insulin therapy , Vitamin B 12 supplements are useful.

It depends on the type of tablet or capsule formulation. whether tablet is extended release form, mouth dissolving, water soluble, etc. Similarly capsules are chewed, enteric coated like antacids, sugar coated, double layered, etc As far as Diabetes is concerned , Vit B Complex and Antioxidants are very essential and helpful. Also try newer drugs like L-Carnitine, etc.Good Luck. !!!!!
