Is Switching From Prednisone To Cellcept Safe?
I had a pulmonary problem for which I was prescribed prednisone and antibiotics. I am much better now. My doctor stated I have two markers of an autoimmune disorder, but did not give me a dx. She prescribed CellCept == she will transition me off prednisone to cellcept. this seems like an awfully powerful drug. They are not sure why had had the pulmonary problem. Do you think it is wise to prescribe CellCept when I don t have specific dx? nor do they know how I will do after I go off prednisone.

Cellcept is a brand name of mycophenolic acid and is more specific than steroids.
