Is Swallowing A Small Amount Of Paint Thinner A Cause For Concern?
Paint thinner was put into a gingerale bottle and I took a sip . . . .thinking it was gingerale . . .I can taste it on my lips and although I keep drinking and spitting water . . .I can still taste it . . . .I really don tthink I swallowed more than a sip because I realize immediately it wasn t gingerale . . .advice??

Nothing to be worried about. If its as small as you say it wont have any effect. Yes the taste will linger for some time. But no other effect of it on such a low dose. You can try eating or drinking other tasty food itmes to supress the taste of thinner. No untoward health effects otherwise
