Is Surgical Treatment Advisable Based On This Ultrasound Report?
Good day!!! My ultrasound said that my left ovary shows a well defined cystic anechoic mass at the lower midpole meassuring 57x42x36mms. After 5 months the cyst is still there and became bigger from 57x42x36mms to62x45x39mms. Does this mean i need surgey to remove this? Thanks in advance!!!
Since the cyst is increasing in size , though only small changes, then surgical removal may be suggested especially if there is a associated symptoms such as pain, abnormal bleeding.
It would be best to speak to your doctor to determine if this option can be considered. It is generally a safe procedure.
I hope this helps
