Is Surgical Treatment Advisable Based On This Ultrasound Report?

Good day!!! My ultrasound said that my left ovary shows a well defined cystic anechoic mass at the lower midpole meassuring 57x42x36mms. After 5 months the cyst is still there and became bigger from 57x42x36mms to62x45x39mms. Does this mean i need surgey to remove this? Thanks in advance!!!

Since the cyst is increasing in size , though only small changes, then surgical removal may be suggested especially if there is a associated symptoms such as pain, abnormal bleeding.

It would be best to speak to your doctor to determine if this option can be considered.
It is generally a safe procedure.
