Is Surgical Removal Of Stones From Salivary Glands Advisable?
hi my name is alfredo and I have a prolem with my saliva glands I have stones in the glands and I need surgery to removed them my question is how much it cost for that surgery I need to know so that I can save that money since I have no insurance please help and let me know.
As per your complain salivary stones are crystalline structures that are formed from the minerals present in saliva..
In case if you have stones in the salivary glands that are deep enough to be removed surgically then the best thing is to first of all decide the particular oral surgeon who will do the surgery and the cost of the treatment depends upon the location and the charges decided by the treating surgeon..
So it will be better to decide the surgeon first and then only you can get the exact idea about the charges..
If the stones are superficial then they can be manually removed but if they are deep the surgical removal can be done under Sialographic guidance..
Hope this helps..
Thanks and regards..
