Is Surgical Removal Of Kidney Stone Advisable?

Hello sir, My father base kidney stone problem.this report is left kidney left side mild hydronephoris with hydroture up to upper uretic size 8 mm.crotico-medullary differentiation preserved. So my quest is itis emergency to surgery ? What is treatment for my father? Any medicine can help my father remove kidney stone. Please suggest

Hello,

Thanks for trusting us with your problem.

I understand your concern.I would advise you to take ample amount of water,
cranberry juice,urisoda.These will help him to pass kidney stone through urine.Drinking soda & mineral containing diet i.e cheese etc. should be avoided.

For pain Ketorolac 10 mg (Ketorol-DT) three times a day is advisable.

If it does get improving,dont go for emergency surgery.If pain is unbearable and doesn't get relieved at all consult a general surgeon.
