Is Surgery The Only Option To Remove The Flesh In The Nose?

Respected Sir, I have pain in my left ear and its like blocked. Few years back I had same problem and doctor said that the flesh in my nose is increased due to which enough air is not reaching to my ear. Is this correct, do i need to be operated to remove that extra flesh ? Is that painfull? Thanks

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. If the nasal polyp or flesh is blocking then it should be removed as it gives recurrent upper respiratory infections. I can comment about it more if you send your MRI report of it. This usually can be removed by endoscopic surgery and is a minor surgery also. It is done under anaesthesia. So it won't be painful.

Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
