Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Disc prolapse is managed by rest and painkillers initially. As the condition progresses and when medication and rest do not provide any relief, surgery is the mainstay of treatment.

I suggest you consult your Orthopedician for further management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri,
