Is Surgery Needed For Swollen Uvula?

Good day. I have a swollen uvula and now suffering this pain. My doctor told me to have surgery of this. I want to know if there is any options to cure this? Is it necessary to undergo surgery. I am sick and tired taking antibiotics and now my body sometimes is numb. Home remedies are effective?I m suffering from this almost 2months now. I hope you can provide the best solution about this. If you are having a swelling for 2 months and have already tried antibiotics , then the best option would be surgery. Please dont worry it is a minor surgery and you will be fine.
