Is Surgery Needed For Hyperthyroid ?
Hi,I have a hyperthyroid and was diagnosed when I was 24 years old.I'm taking a medicines,a tapazole and Inderal for almost 7 years now.Is this kind of illness is a transmitted one?Is their really a possibility that I can't give birth in the future?What is the best thing to do with it?Do I need to undergo operation or what they called radiation?Do I need to take a medicine for a lifetime?Can please suggest a thyroid specialist near in Coquitlam or in Burnaby.Thank you

Thank you for asking on HCM!I have gone carefully through your report.First of all you can be a pregnant.About your questation for surgery :Until your hormon level under therapy is goal of the rang and your scan gl thyroid is without nodels,..at least you are not Graves Diseas you can't need to operation.
Is nessesary radiotherapy?I need to ask you about hormon thyroid level?!?!?!TSH,T3,T4 TPo etc Radiotherapy needed in case after throidectomy, after malinj case,or until euthyroidien or hyperthyroid after thyroidectomy.
