Welcome to health care majic. Back surgeries are trick. if you do not have back pain and no neurological impairment you can wait and see. if you have any neurologic impairment like weakness, loss of sensation, bladder and bowel emptying issues and sexual erections you must undergo surgery immediately. if the pain tolerable and only have sciatic pain you can wait. No one can predict when you have critical nerve damage.
