Is Surgery For Multiple Hernias Post Colon Tumor Removal Surgery Dangerous?
I had a cancerous tumor in my colon that ruptured and also ruptured my colon . had emergenct surgery , had open wound and iliostomy ,I had that reversed almost a year ago now I have three hernias and my surgeon won t do the surgery .I m scared I will have to go through all the same again and if i ll survive .

You can safely proceed with surgery. However, there is a slightly increased risk because adhesions from the previous surgery makes the procedure more difficult for the surgeon. You can also opt for laparoscopic surgery also.
