Is Surgery Advisable For Dropped Head Syndrome?

I have Dropped Head Syndrome. I have been seeing different doctors and gong for physical therapy for more than a year now. I have been wearing all types of cervical collars to hold my head up. I am ready to give up, I am ready to seriously consider surgery. What do you think?
