Is Sunbathing Advisable While Suffering From Fungal Infection?

Hi I ve just currently been diagnosed with a fungal infection on my chest area I ve been prescribed canesten cream I m off to Portugal in a weeks time can I still sunbath with tis on my skin or do I just apply it after a shower before bed Regards Tina

Hi.
As per your case history of fungal infection, my advice is -
1. Sunbathing is not effective in fungal infection. So no need of it.
2. Maintain good hygiene and bath twice daily. Keep your belongings different as it is infectious disease.
3. Continue applying canestan cream TwiceTwice daily.
4. Other treatment options include oral antifungal medicines like fluconazole, itraconazole and terbinafine.
