Is Stomach Ache Symptom Of A Concussion ?
yesterday my 4yr old got hit in the side of the head with a rock caused a small gash and blood. he seemed fine yesterday and lastnite. but today is really tired and complains of a stomach ache could this be a sign of a concussion or ssomething more serious? and should i take him to the er?

Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic. I understand your concern. First be reassured that your kid is normal. I will suggest you danger signs of head injury -
1. Vomiting continuously
2. Seizures
3. Watery of bloody discharge from ears and nose
4. Unconsciousness
5. Altered sensorium or behaviour.
If none of them are present, I don't think you should worry about his trivial head injury. For pain you can give oral Paracetamol in the dose of 15mg/kg/dose(max ceiling dose 500mg) every 4-6th hourly. Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time.
