Is Snoring A Symptom Of Respiratory Tract Infection In A Child?

Hi my daughter is 3 years old and she starts fever from the day before yesterday, which is about 99 to 100 degree. but we started giving acetaminophen, and it is under control now. she has no cold like symptoms. she has no desire to eat and drink as well. I realized she snores while she is sleeping. I noticed it for about a months or so, and it seems very uncomfortable to see her breathing but breathing seems normal during the day while she is active. I am really worried about whether or not she has infection in somewhere any of the organs of respiratory system. Also she has chronic constipation and wants to hold her pup as much as she can and very hard to take her to toilet for pup. It would be a great help if you can suggest me what I suppose to do. Thanks.

The most possible reason for the snoring in this age group of child may be enlarged adenoids and fever may be due to secondary infection to that site. So you need to consult a pediatrician for proper examination and diagnosis and course of antibiotics if needed and medicine like septilin to enhance immunity. For treating constipation you can increase the amount of food reach in fibres (rice, cereals green leafy vegitables) and liquids(fruit juices) If still it is problem then you can go for syrup containing mild osmotic laxatives.
