Is Smoking Cigarette Advisable For A Patient With Acute Pericarditis?

I have been told by a doctor that i have acute Pericarditis i have been given ibuprofen and told the symptoms should go in about a week. I know smoking is bad for my health generally and that is not my question, my question is will smoking 1 to 2 cigarettes a day in the next week seriously aggravate the pericarditis or stop it from healing?
