Is Smoking And Drinking Advisable To A Heart Attack Survivor?

Hi my husband has one kidney and 6months ago he had a massive heart attack. This lead him to have an angiogram .during this procedure ha had another heart attack and suffered pulmonary oedema. He had a stent put in. Is it safe for him to smoke and drink whiskey. He is 62years

Hi There

After going through the medical details provided by you I would like to tell you that it's not at all a good thing to continue smoking and drinking after having a major heart attack and stenting.

If he doesn't stop smoking his stent can be blocked anytime causing another heart attack.

So better avoid it
