Is Sleep Issues Common After Increase In Dosage Of Synthroid?

My Synthroid was just increased from 58mcg to 62mcg. Initially, for the first four weeks, I was feeling great...sleeping was no problem. Now I am having sleep issues and I am feeling somewhat jazzed up. My question is: If I stay with this new increased dose, will my body eventually get used to the new increase? I would prefer to not drop back to the 58mcg. Thank you!

Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
Sleep disorder(insomnia) is a well described side effect of synthroid especially at high doses.I will suggest you see your prescribing Doctor and present the problem.Depending on the reason why he increased the dose, he will know what to do.He will however have to evaluate the risks and the benefits of the present dose before taking any decision.
Hope my answer will help you
Best regards
