Hello,

Sinarest (Pseudoephedrine-Acetaminophen, Chlorpheniramine maleate) is given for symptomatic relief of Common cold which is otherwise self-limiting and subsides in 5-7days.

Therapy in the form of first-generation antihistamine(Chlorpheniramine) and Acetaminophen may be beneficial in patients with particularly pronounced symptoms, and an oral decongestant(Pseudoephedrine) may be added if nasal obstruction is particularly troublesome.

Saline nasal drops (3-6 horly) improves nasal symptoms. Use Sinarest only when symptoms are severe and that too for a few days only(at best 3 days). Home remedies( holy basil, ginger, honey) often work well.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
