Is Shingles Contagious?

My GP yesterday diagnosed me with SHINGLES. He told me that it is highly communicable, yet I just read one of your articles and it states that it isn t. I am 76 and my wife 64+. we both have cancers and she s had chemo and radiation treatment 4 years ago. Is she suceptible?

Shingles is contagious, it can spread from one person to other. Better to be isolated and take treatment.
