Is Severe Nausea While Recovering From Hiatal Hernia Surgery Normal?

I am recovering extremely slowly from hiatal hernia surgery. I had mussel spasms and extreme difficulty swallowing after surgery. After 2 procedures to stretch the opening and 10 days I finally returned home. I had an ER visit since because of nausea and constipation. While the symptoms were relieved for a few days, with the medications, I was so nauseated this evening nothing is staying down, without a fight. ( all I can do is dry heave) I have no fever and I have 2 of the 3 nausea meds in me at this point. still sick Betsy Allaire
