Is Rash Like Bleeding Itchy Sores Related To Eczema?

FORGIVE MY SPELLING... I THINK I HAVE EXCZEMA? My skin has little sores all over it. They are very itchy. Though I try not to scratch, they sometimes bleed anyway. There are several different types of rash, an cover most of my body, arms, and legs. My mother ,who is now dead used to tell me that as a baby up to 2 years old, I had this eczema all over me. What can I do? My skin is quite delicate. Thank you. I am 66 years old.

Hello,

I have gone through your complaints and it could be an eczematous rash. I would recommend you to apply topical steroid like clobetasol propionate cream mixed in a moisturizing lotion in the ratio of 1:4 on the affected areas twice daily and take antihistaminic like tablet Cetrizine once or twice daily depending on the intensity of itching.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
