Is Prolonged PPI Treatment For Acidity Safe?
hi doctor, I have been taking ppi for the last two years on my doctors advice on acidity problem. he says i will have to take ppi for lifetime because i have more cells in my stomach than normal beings. hence the frequent acidity problem. I take bland food now and am feeling ok. can i stop taking ppi in near future?

I really appreciate your concern, the ideal dose of the PPI is 'Tab Omeprazole 40 mg" once in day at evening time for six weeks only and it can not be taken for life time, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
